Animal ghee (municipal ghee or Arabic ghee) is a fat extracted from sheep or cow’s milk in certain ways. It is used in the kitchen in preparing foods. Animal ghee is prepared from milk by diluting it with water and whisking it continuously until the ghee particles begin to clump and float in the milk. Diluted with water, these particles are then collected that form the butter that by melting it, the ghee is formed, and the whisking process continues until the particles run out of the mixture, after which the butter is melted on the fire, forming the ghee.
